SOJ {Day 7} Dream #1

I'm going digital on this one since I don't have any color ink right now. I started a b4fify list (even created a logo) on my 49th birthday so I'm using 3 of the 50 things on my list for my fun dream.

{1} adding to my tattoo - I never thought I'd get one but this year couldn't stop thinking about it so in June I got "you were born with wings" (line from a Rumi poem} on the inside of my left forearm (I'm a lefty) so I want to add a feather now 

{2} get a bunch of my girlfriends together and go to a winery 

{3} splurge and get myself a real camera...mine is so old and I take tons of pictures (another artsy love) mostly with my phone. 

How many fun things can we put on this list?  

SOJ {Day 6} 3 Words

My three words...evoke, fierce & sexy (this is me being brave). 

I was surprised at the words that came together...

There's a certain type of woman

{SOJ} Day 5...Home - part 2

I did end up doing another set of pages to add to the home prompt {inspired by Sarah's post}. I love designing and went to school for it late in life, so I'm always changing something in my house. I love the "rustic luxe" of these photos - the comfort it exudes. It is always most important to me for my home to be welcoming & inviting. I love beauty all around me and try to only have things that I love. 

My kitchen has a sign in it "kitchen - heart of the home" so these words soulful kitchen speak to me. I love the sparkling tile, the marble with the rustic wood, the casual yet elegant feel - and there is even wine in the pic - bonus!!  Fresh flowers, a comfy bed. The pool is on there because mine has a hole in the liner and it's very costly to fix. I always loved looking outside my slider and seeing the water and setting out there for hours drinking coffee, reading, etc. Now I don't even want to go into my backyard.

 I could go on & on, but I put these wishes out there - 

no matter when I end up - for my home to exude these feelings.

{SOJ} Day 5...Home

Day 5...home - it appears I'm being told to LET GO (when on the road of life - ride shotgun) & all roads lead to home sweet home! I love the part that says "there is something really great when you give your power to the she...and that's not an empty promise". Yes!

 One thing I've always wanted in my home are big doors & windows leading out to the deck 

(my sliding door is so old). Then the pic of the beach...so so looove the beach 

- the sounds & smells; the feeling of contentment, peace & serenity - mmmmm!!

Now I'm thinking that maybe my feelings about the beach are how I want to feel at home?!

 Although I wouldn't mind a house on the beach either

I was reluctant to use the word lust in my I am but after looking up the meaning it was perfect - an overwhelming desire; intense eagerness or enthusiasm - as I have this overwhelming desire to live with purpose, live intentionally and to live out loud!

My book has changed to a chapter book. I found some awesome paper to cover the outside then a friend gave me a bunch of great magazine that were just perfect! 

 It just feels right now - a continuing story - 

and makes me, oh, so excited to see what comes next!

{Spirits of Joy} day 1

:::AWAKEN THEE SLEEPING BEAUTY::: 

I used the word thee because this sleeping beauty is of a divine nature...

& when awakened {reminds me of that quote you see "oh shit, she's awake"} 

- a badass divine beauty. I really want to meet her!! 

I feel like I have been "hiding" or playing small for too long, 

but this year I want to awaken that sleeping beauty & let her been seen. 

I had a good friend killed in a motorcycle accident last year. 

During her funeral the reverend was talking to her friends like it was Angi speaking -- 

the two words that have stuck with me since is "don't hide"

...ever since I have been shining my light more & more. 

It's scary, but I'm ready!! 

The other words I found together & thought they fit perfectly - 

it's everything, 

it's my inspiration, 

it's never finished, 

a work in progress.
