. blessing wheel .

{ every great dream
begins with a dreamer.
always remember,
you have within you
the strength,
the patience,
& the passion
to reach for the stars
to change the world.

Day 30 {thank you for...}

    Saying YES this year! I made a list of 50 things I wanted to accomplish
    before my 50th birthday - #43 was "say yes more" -
    this changed my world in 2014 - a huge thank you to all who were a part of it
yes is a world
& in this world of yes live
{skillfully curled)}
all worlds”

Day 27 {silence}

Nature looks dead in winter
because her life is gathered
into her heart.
She withers down to the root
that she may grow it up again
fairer and stronger.

Day 25 {today is}

Today is...
a day full of family and togetherness,
honoring my need for space
and taking time to appreciate
the sun just beginning to set
when there are so many cloudy days
this time of year.

Then having my friend text me
her photo of the sunset
a little later that evening.

A gift to me...my boys with their Grandma Karen
and their gifts...still pjs at this age -
it's our Christmas Eve tradition.

{day 12} white

Fortunately there is no snow to take a photo of right now!
I was surprised to find a whole bunch of dandelion seed heads this time of year.

I made a a couple of wishes while I was at it.

Day 11 {favorite photo of 2014}

I chose this one because he very much dislikes his picture taken
and, go figure, he's with someone who continually takes photos
(and he's so very patient about it).
 I managed to get him to pose for this one...and I adore it

day 10 {reflection}

I took this photo on Sunday while taking the back roads home.
     It was a weekend of reflections - driving around where I grew up & reminiscing,
    seeing long time friends, laughing at old stories and crying at the loss of a friend -
    realizing how much has changed, but at the same time stayed the same.

     Life is full of contradictions,
    but without sorrow & hurt
    how would we truly appreciate joy & love.

day 8 {sunset}

The closet I was able to get to a sunset today
before the clouds took over.

I was loving the lines of these wild flowers.
