{...whisper...} 108:108

We have limitless possibilities within us
and it's the continued practice
of going within over & over
so that the whsiper becomes a voice
& then becomes your embodied truth.

{...autumn leaves...} 107:108

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.

{...sunrise...} 100:108

I'm not often up and out of the house on the weekend to catch the sunrise.
The clouds always add so much interest.

{...her message...} 98:108

After the first layer of this painting, I initially saw a woman looking over her shoulder.
I started working with that image and it morphed into this girl as I painted.
One of my friends mentioned that she looked shy.
 At that very moment, I realized her message to me.

I see her with the feathers in her fiery red hair...so full of joy and innocence and light.
Then some one tells her in one way or another she can't be her.
She needs to act or be a certain way.
She needs to follow the rules and be like everyone else.
This is where she begins hiding her light.
This is where she becomes shy & withdrawn.

Her first moment of shame.

{...autumn...} 96:108

But then fall comes, kicking summer out on its treacherous ass
as it always does one day sometime after the midpoint of September,
it stays awhile like an old friend that you have missed.
It settles in the way an old friend will settle into your favorite chair
and take out his pipe and light it
 and then fill the afternoon with stories of places he has been
& things he has done since last he saw you.

{...him, me & margaritas...} 93:108

:::him, me & margaritas:::

Our favorite mexican restaurant on Saturday night.  It's kind of like a "Cheers"
since we walk in and they bring us our margaritas, cheese dip, chips & salsa.
The one thing he won't share...his salsa - they bring him his own.

{...painting...} 91:108

After not picking up a paint brush for over two months,
I painted last night...just one layer on four canvases.
I love the first layer as it doesn't matter, so you can just let it all out.

{...crystals...} 90:108

My first ever purchase of crystals - green kyanite, amethyst & blue obsidian.
I washed them in a rain puddle & set them on my window sill in the moonlight.
