December 8 – Beautifully Different.Hmmmm….what makes me different? I am left handed. Actually, a "part time" lefty - write with my left hand, but do a lot of other things, like sports, right handed.
Think about what makes you different and what you do that lights people up. Reflect on all the things that make you different – you’ll find they’re what make you beautiful. (Author: Karen Walrond)
How about...what do I love?
I love learning, discovering, watching, listening, smiling, laughing. I love laughing until your face hurts. I look at the sky each an every day. I love being barefoot, but I also love wearing heels. I love dancing. I love singing in the car. I love being creative – painting, drawing, dreaming, designing. I love beautiful & unique things. I love things in my home that have meaning and I enjoy seeing every day. I love color. I love textures. I love my house being welcoming, comfortable & inviting. I love hugs. I love kissing. I love coffee...with cream. I love the smell of almond. I love the feel of the sun on my skin, the sand on my feet and the sounds of the beach. I love hearing the birds chirping in the morning, the crickets chirping at night. I love the full moon – a bright, huge moon in the dark night sky. I love a star-filled sky. I love the first sign of flowers in the Spring. I love the smell of fresh cut grass. I love the smell of lilacs & peonies. I love watching the sun set and the beautiful display of color that keeps changes as it sets. I love sitting next to a fire and watching the flames. I love silence. I love soft serve ice cream cones. I love art. I love watching musicals & plays knowing the dancers, actors and singers are doing something they love and have followed their dream. I love listening to music. I love cuddling under a blanket watching movies. I love popcorn - homemade, on the stove, popcorn. I love reading a good book. I love the delicacy of snowflakes. I love tree branches covered in ice & snow. I love the colors of autumn. I love watching my kids sleep. I love listening to my boys laugh. I love hearing 'i love you Mom'. I love being a Mom. I love the feeling of having a true friend. I love love.
