My pilates instructor had a Halloween party that was quite fabulous. It took some courage to go since I knew there wouldn't be any people I knew at the party. Of course, a few people from my class that I would recognize, but that is it. Thank goodness, my friend, Claudette, went along with me.

I was super excited about my costume - Audrey Hepburn...ish. My absolutely favorite part of the costume was the long cigarette holder. It felt so sophisticated. Next favorite - the long, black gloves. A added bonus was wearing a dress I hadn't worn, well - ever! I had it in my closet for years with the tags still on it.


There was quite an array of food - pizza made from scratch! You could definitely tell he put a lot of thought and effort into the party. I met a lot of very fun people. I think my favorite conversation was with a man dressed as a woman (you can see him in the picture below). He had a great sense of humor!! Don't you just love the costume with the rainbow leg warmers?!!!

We danced, we laughed and had a great time.

In 2011, I will say yes to attending more events & parties where I can meet new people!
