Last night we had the first officially snow of the winter season...guessing about 7" of snow! This morning I went to look out my back door knowing it would be beautiful on the trees. The sun was just rising, it was so quiet outside as the earth & the trees were covered in the whitest, most beautiful snow. I love when every branch is covered and the contrast between the light & the dark.
As I stand there admiring, I also gave thanks for my warm home knowing there are people who are without in this cold weather.
