{ sensitive }

when I was in elementary school, 

I remember a magnolia tree 

that I passed on my walk to school. 

I remember being mesmerized by the beautiful flowers.

I was so excited to have one in my yard 

when I bought this house. 

& look forward to it blooming every year.

with all the frost this week, it doesn’t look like it is going to fare too well. 

for a tree that blooms in early spring,

 when outside conditions can be unpredictable, 

it certainly is very sensitive.

like me.
