I spent a lot of time this weekend digging up flowers & moving them around the yard. Since so many of the flowers are in bloom right now, I decided to pick some to enjoy indoors (top right).
After arranging them in a bouquet, I took a few close up photos. I love the petals on this crazy daisy (left) and the bright orange of the tiger lily (bottom right). I am always in awe of the detail of flowers which I why I love taking close up photographs. The center of this daisy is mesmerizing with all of its little individual pieces. The shades of orange in this lily are perfection. So. beautiful.
As Georgia O'Keefe knew...
"if you take a flower in your hand & really look at it,
it's your world for a moment."
Oh, yes...so very true!
