These are the spent flowers from the hibiscus bush in my yard. Last Winter, I noticed and was totally fascinated at how they continue all Winter to open and close depending upon the amount light they receive that day. You can see the one in the bottom right that has the most light is open wide.
In turn, it reminds me to open fully to let in the light and radiate beauty.
The windows of my soul I throw
Wide open to the sun.
