Day 147 ~ Unexpected Beauty

This is actually a "weed" that grows in my lawn. My Mom had told me it usually grows in fields & attracts butterflies. Well, that was all I needed to hear, so I dug one up and planted in my herb garden with the hope it was true.  I had no idea what the plant would turn into as it grew.  I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it today and had these pretty little yellow flowers on it.

Extra bonus, I captured a little bee buzzing in the flowers.  Now...to watch for butterflies!  I hope it's true...
