Your genuine action will explain itself, and will explain your other genuine actions. Your conformity explains nothing. The force of character is cumulative. – Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-RelianceIf ‘the voyage of the best ship is a zigzag line of a hundred tacks,’ then it is more genuine to be present today than to recount yesterdays. How would you describe today using only one sentence? Tell today’s sentence to one other person. Repeat each day. (Author: Liz Danzico)
Let your heart be your guide!
I received this email from Neale Donald Walsh's "God want to you know". Maybe my sentence should be a question not a statement...
On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...
...that courage sometimes means doing things that could
hurt you. It means choosing the higher good.
And do not kid yourself. You always know what the
higher good is. There is never any doubt about that in your heart.
So today, look at things through your heart, not through your mind
(which always wants to protect you).
What is the highest good right now?
You already know the answer. Just do it.
I love the idea of looking at things through your heart, not through your mind! I find my heart tells me many things that makes fearful...that challenges my mind, but when I listen, wonderful things happen. I do believe your heart will not lead you astray!
