Wishcasting Wednesday

It's Wednesday & time for Wishcasting! Jamie's question today...
What do you wish for your health?
The interesting thing is I was lying in bed this morning thinking about how I need to get back to my workout schedule! Last year, I had many things spiraling out of control in my life. I asked myself what was ONE thing that I could control...just start with one! I know me...making a long list of changes is overwhelming and would cause me not to follow through with my intentions.

I decided that I was going to attend pilates class. I knew it was a good workout and the class was three days per week. I began. I didn't beat myself up if I missed a class, but did my very best. This little shift made such a difference in my life. In six months, I had lost 30 lbs and this boost in confidence spread to other areas of my life. For me, working out also cleanses my mental energy, which at this point in my life was especially important.

My life doesn't look the same this year as so many changes have occurred...positive changes.  I know it was all because I took ONE step, then another, then another.

I have let myself slide lately in attending pilates, so I would like to get back to my schedule and then add a couple more classes. More importantly than just weight loss, I want to be fit and have more energy. I know the difference it makes in my life, so I would LOVE to move forward this year as much as last year.

I wish to make my health a priority knowing its effects multiply the positive in my life!

I wanted to share with you a picture I came across yesterday.  This lady is 70 years old...WOW!  Talk about motivation...and believing it's possible.  Most definitely inspiring!

  1. To making health a priority!

And yes, that 70 year old lady is amazing!

I used to take Pilates, and really enjoyed it. I've got some shoulder/arm injuries right not that make it difficult to rejoin, but I have taken up walking, and I'd like to try yoga.

As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.

  4. As Sandy wishes for herself, I wish for her as well. I have not taken Pilates but I just got back from a yoga class. Yoga has made such a big difference in my life.
It does all start with one step or sometimes one breath at a time.
I'd love to have you join me with the newly created (today) online support group. Hope you can join me this Sunday with a comment.
