Wishcasting Wednesday

Today for Wishcasting Wednesday, Jamie asks...
What do you wish to read?
It's not too often I read a fiction novel, and always think that I should do it more often.  Then I'm never sure, unless its something very popular, what to read.  Usually, I stick to books about self discovery and creating art - books that teach you something.  Hopefully, reading others' posts will give me an idea of what else to read.

I have a whole list of art books I'd like to get to learn new techniques, but ONE book I have had for years and have always wanted to read and follow is "The Artists Way".  Of course, I've began reading it several times, but have never stuck with it.

Now, I have found a blog that is offering an Artist Way Creative Cluster (woohoo!) – Effy the Wild at Wild & Precious Studios.  A new session starts in September. so I am looking forward to going thru the book with fellow artists/soul searchers.  I'm hoping having others to share the experience with will make all the difference!  Interesting enough...I just inquired about it last night!!  It makes me kind of nervous just thinking about trying to commit to it.  Can I do it?

My wish is to make time to take the Artist Way program in September...and stick with it!

Interested?  Check it out here.

  1. It's all about resistance to the books materials, good luck in reading it. I love it & what I gained from it. As you wish for yourself, so do I wish for you as well.

  6. I feel ya--I had difficulty with this book as well. There was something about the tone that made it hard to dive in. If it works for you, roll with it! :)

Here's to adventure! As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.~*

    Much Joy,

I started TAW on Wild Precious but fell off the wagon for a number of reasons; I am targeting the September run too :))
