Live Love 365 ~ Day 17

This morning the sky was a bright, sunshiney blue with a chilly wind and snow still on the ground from our last storm.  These weeds on the hill against the sky were so lovely this morning.  This angle doesn't capture the blue sky, but appears more pink and hazy. 

I really, really want to get a closer shot of these wild flowers (and to find out their name).  Maybe I will have to wear real boots to work so I can climb the hill and get to them thru the snow.  :-) 

I am intrigued by the beauty of the remnants of summer's wild flowers this winter.  I don't think I've taken the time to notice their exquisitness before now.  It seems I'm always too pre-occupied with wishing winter was over and longing for the coming of Spring, I didn't take the time to notice NOW. 

And, a little adjusting with my filters (love playing with these!).
